I'm thrilled to introduce some of my current favorites from the new Perry Clark Home apothecary collection. Perry Clark Home is an e-boutique focused on inspired living made up of local women entrepreneurs (so amazing). I recently tried a few products from the new apothecary collection and spoke with Founder and CEO Christine Clark to get the full scoop on these incredible products.

Weekly Pick: PrettyQuick
Searching for a new salon or need a manicure for date night? Let me introduce you to PrettyQuick, the beauty booking service in Chicago. Think OpenTable meets Uber for beauty and you'll quickly understand why I absolutely love PrettyQuick.
As someone who loves a spontaneous manicure "just because" I can easily book an appointment via PrettyQuick the same day without having to pick up the phone. You can filter your desired beauty service by neighborhood and select your preferred salon to make your appointment. PrettyQuick will text you a confirmation and if your selected day & time are unavailable suggest similar salons in the area (LOVE this).
Last Sunday I woke up and decided I needed a little pampering so I made a manicure appointment at one of my favorite salons Nail Bar Diversey. I received a text confirming my appointment and I didn't have to worry about carrying cash because my credit card is securely stored on PrettyQuick. A great manicure with an easy booking process and I'm hooked.
Lucky for you readers PrettyQuick is offering you a free manicure! Just Sign Up, enter the promo code projectsoiree and the credit will be added to your account. Enjoy!

Fab 5: Summer Beauty Products
1. This Leland Gal bag is made in Michigan and the perfect pouch to hold my favorite beauty products.
2. I'm currently obsessed with the L'Oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes mascara that delivers amazing volume and doesn't smudge on hot summer days.
3. For shine-free coverage I've been using bareMinerals Prime Time primer that helps control excess shine and protection from the sun with SPF 15.
4. It took me a long time to find the perfect red lipstick but the Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick #301 is easy to apply, lasts throughout the day and the best color for my skin tone.
5. I love bright nail polish during the summer and Essie's Lapiz of Luxury is a deamy light blue hue.
6. To avoid dry skin I use Fresh Brown Sugar Body Cream with shea butter and vitamins C & E to smooth my skin.

Weekly Pick: PrettyQuick
After a hectic day at work sometimes a mani is the best way to relax and get pampered which is why PrettyQuick is my latest obsession for last-minute beauty appointments at some of the best salons and spas in the city. PrettyQuick allows you to easily choose your desired service (manicure, haircut, massage, facial etc.) and choose your neighborhood to quickly find appointments. Best of all you can also book off-peak appointments at many salons with discounts up to 30% off.
I made an appointment at Nail Bar Diversey for a manicure and loved how easy it was to book online and receive confirmation via text. Nail Bar did a fabulous job on my manicure, and I'll definitely be using PrettyQuick for all my beauty appointments in Chicago.
PrettyQuick is generously offering Project Soiree readers $10 off your first appointment with code projectsoiree. Enjoy!

Weekly Pick: goldplaited
As someone who has thick and somewhat curly hair I love a good blowout that lasts a few days and saves me time getting ready in the morning. I was super excited to check out goldplaited located in my Lincoln Park neighborhood that offers both hair and makeup services. I know there are quite a few salons that offer blowouts here in Chicago, but I'm here to tell you that goldplaited is the "gold" experience when it comes to service and attention to detail.
A blowout at goldplaited starts with a consultation and a relaxation message (which was absolutely amazing). They use products from Moroccan Oil (my favorite) to achieve the look you want and in just 45 minutes you're out the door with a beautiful blowout. Before you go don't forget to stop by their one-of-a-kind finishing alcove to spritz some perfume and grab a breath mint.

How adorable is the store mascot Sheffield? I mean seriously...
Come to the salon with your girlfriends before a night out and you can enjoy this private room while you sip Champagne and get your hair and makeup done.

Weekly Pick: Blowtique's Ponytail/Bun Bar
With the upcoming holiday season I've got a little secret that you're going to love. Blowtique, Chicago's premiere blowout only salon, now offers a ponytail/bun bar (one of the first in the country). The best part is the ponytail/bun bar doesn't require an appointment and prices range from $10-$35 depending on the style. You can look chic at your holiday parties with a messy bun, topknot or twisted pony in only 10-15 minutes which is perfect for girls on the go.
Since it was Chicago's Fashion Week last week I chose a simple twisted pony that only took 10 minutes to complete on my lunch hour. The chic ponytail was perfect for a night under the fashion tents in Millennium Park.

2. Keep your loose change, keys or lip gloss in this adorable zebra dish from Jonathan Adler for $24.
3. I'm obsessed with the Nate Berkus collection at Target and this pillow has a luxe look for only $24.99.
4. These notecards with a stylish stack of classic coffee table books is the perfect correspondence piece with your girlfriends for $19.00.

Fab 5: Best Haircare Products
Davines Love Smoothing Shampoo - The best thing for unruly/frizzy hair is this Davines shampoo with indian fig extract and olive oil to help moisturize and soften hair.
L'Oreal EverPure Smooth Conditioner - You can find this L'Oreal conditioner at your local drugstore but trust me it's the best conditioner out there. The rosemary & mint scent is amazing, and the sulfate-free color system keeps your colored hair from fading.
Bumble and Bumble Tonic Lotion - The Bumble and Bumble tonic lotion is a nutrient-rich detangler and primer for styling that I love to spritz on my locks when I get out of the shower.
Davines Defining Relaxing Fluid - This relaxing fluid from Davines is my go-to product before I blow dry to protect and nourish my hair.
Phyto Phytolisse Finishing Serum - This serum tames my flyways and frizz after blow drying without leaving my hair feeling greasy.

Fab 5: Lipgloss/Lipstick Shades
2. Nars pure matte lipstick in Terre de Feu is my everyday shade. The black cherry red is perfect for work or a night on the town.
3. Sephora the Red is dramatic and the creamy texture makes application easy breezy.
4. MAC lipglass in Love Child is the perfect wear along shade or applied over your lipstick. It's not too sticky and lasts just long enough throughout the day.
5. Nars lipgloss in Orgasm is my favorite light pink with a hint of shimmer.

Weekly Pick: Mermaid Nails
I'm in love with this manicure trend right now! Adding a little glitter to one or all of your nails brings a fun element of surprise without being too crazy. Just apply your favorite nail color and add some glitter to the tips of your nails using a clear top coat to set it. So easy and so festive for summer!

Fab 5: Beauty Products
I could spend hours browsing a drugstore or Sephora's make-up section finding new face products or testing a new lip color. And although I love trying new products I always remain loyal to these five products that I just can't do without. Here are my fab 5 beauty product picks:
1. The Secret Camouflage concealer from Laura Mercier is super versatile and hides all those minor imperfections.
2. I've been using Bare Escentuals foundation for years now and I've never looked back. It's a miracle worker that's actually good for your skin.
3. NARS blush in Orgasm is a universally flattering color for any skin tone. It gives you just the right amount of pink/peach color to your cheeks.
4. M.A.C. Fluidline is the best eyeliner for getting the ultra smooth line and soft or dramatic look you're trying to achieve.
5. The LashBlast Fusion mascara from Covergirl is one of my absolute favorites. It gives you volume and staying power throughout the day and washes off easy at night.
