Tasty Tuesday: Homeslice

While commuting home on the Brown Line this summer I noticed this fun rooftop right by the tracks so naturally I just had to check it out. Homeslice specializes in creatively named hand-tossed pizzas with a thin base but a fluffy crust that are baked in a gas-fired brick oven. The setting will make you feel like you're sitting in a log cabin, but the patio is the selling point during the summer months. If you're in the Lincoln Park area and looking for a unique place to enjoy some delicious pizza I would highly recommend Homeslice.

I ordered the "Strike a Posner" with romas, sundried tomatoes, mozzarella, provolone, parmesan and marinara sauce. I think the picture speaks for itself but honestly the homemade crust and fresh ingredients were amazing.

  1. Gah, I need to eat that right now. Or at least set up a time to visit my sister in Lincoln Park so she can take me here! Looks like a fun and delicious place.

  2. Love Homeslice! And I noticed last time I was there that they use a piece of pizza as a garnish on their bloody mary's!

  4. Oooh, I'm excited to hear this place is awesome. I used to frequent the wine bar that Homeslice replaced so I'm happy that there's still a good place there.
