What I'm Reading Now: Sed Bona

After being Instagram friends with Ashley (mushroomstew) I was so delighted to finally meet her last week and learn more about her recently launched blog Sed Bona (the Latin phrase meaning 'quality over quantity'). 1. What are you currently reading?

I'm currently re-reading Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier - one of my very favorites. I love the fact that you never learn the main character's name, especially considering how prominent the name Rebecca is in the novel.

2. Favorite recipe or restaurant?

Shiso for sushi in Old Town. They have some really incredible and unique rolls and high quality sashimi!

3. What's your favorite thing about blogging?

My favorite thing about blogging is all the new experiences and people it has brought into my life. I'm still new to blogging, having only launched Sed Bona in July but I've been lucky to work with some amazing trendsetters here in Chicago and some amazing restaurants already. I love having such a rich community of artists here in Chicago to inspire me to push myself forward.
