Tasty Tuesday: Coppervine

After reading An Eventful Life's review of Coppervine last week I was dying to make a visit. Coppervine recently opened in Lincoln Park and focuses on food & wine pairings. Each menu item has a suggested beer, wine or cocktail pairing that elevates your dining experience.

 

We started our night with the steamed PEI mussels in a chimichurri spice and white wine broth that was cooked to perfection.

The highlight of the night was the Maine lobster mac & cheese with a panko-romano crust. I'm still dreaming about how delicious this mac & cheese was.

 

Another favorite was the mozzarella di bufala flatbread with heirloom tomatoes, basil and roasted garlic. I think the garlic really elevated this flatbread to the next level.

If you're looking for a great date night spot or a restaurant for girl's night I would highly recommend Coppervine. Have some fun with the food and drink pairings on the men and you might find a new favorite combination.
