My mom always read me Goodnight Moon... then when I started pretending to read it was Shel Silverstein all the way! Madeline was more the movies instead of the book haha.
i had all these books read to me as a child and i remember each and every one of them! what classic books. i want to go to boston now after reading make way for ducklings, i think it is boston :-)

I loved Madeline! But in our house my kids read all Dr. Seuss. They love the flow of his books.
