Weekly Pick: Decorating With Sheepskin

Right now I'm obsessed with adding some texture to my apartment and was really inspired by these rooms that incorporated sheepskin. The sheepskin wears well on chairs, rugs or pillows for a touch of character and coziness to any room in your home. Check out this great find at Ikea!

Tasty Tuesday: Table 52

Ok I think it's safe to say that Table 52 is now on my Top 5 list of favorite restaurants in Chicago. The restaurant is owned by chef Art Smith (better known as Oprah's personal chef) so you know the food is going to be outstanding. What I love most about Table 52 is the ambiance of the restaurant that makes it feel as though you are being welcomed to dinner at a friend's home. With a new take on southern comfort and a warm inviting atmosphere Table 52 was the perfect place to celebrate my 26th birthday.

What I'm Reading Now: Divergent

Hungry for something to read after devouring the Hunger Games? Well feast your appetite on the next big trilogy Divergent. The book takes place in a futuristic Chicago where 16-year-old Beatrice must choose between five predetermined factions that will define her identity. And what's really impressive is the book was written by a 23-year-old Northwestern student, and it's already been picked up to be produced as a movie in 2015. Watch out Hunger Games...

Tasty Tuesday: Flight 1551

If you live in Chicago (or planning a visit) you must check out Flight 1551 in Old Town. Flight 1551 is a wine bar that offers over 200 types of wine from all over the world in a charming setting on Wells Street. The interior is has a modern feel but the atmosphere is the perfect setting for a girls night or date night. They also have an extensive list of small plates and amazing pizzas to pair with your wine.
