Do you have the next great idea? The Idea Swap is a brilliant website that lets you submit your ideas and exchange them with others. Most of the ideas are pretty useless, but the website is engaging and it gets your wheels turning and really that's all that matters.

N is for: Neon

I say the brighter the better. That's right don't be afraid to walk out of the house with these neon yellow shorts. This season the blinding neon colors have made a comeback from the 80's and they are really burning bright. The key is incorporating them into your wardrobe in a subtle manner by choosing one or two colored pieces (such as these neon yellow shorts), and pairing them with a neutral charcoal tank and ivory blazer.

M is for: Menswear

I'm loving the girl-ified take on the menswear classics. A sleek suit is so classy and sexy in an unexpected way. You could even sport a skinny tie or sleek bow tie to add a fun element to the look. So ladies don't be afraid to sneak into your man's closet and "steal" a few pieces.

If your house was burning, what would you take with you? The Burning House is a blog that lets you answer this question by submitting a photo of your valuable possessions. It's entertaining to browse what others find to be sentimental, and also gain insight into their hobbies or priorities. I think I would grab my laptop, wallet, cell phone, painting from Italy, jewelry, and parts of my wardrobe. What would you take?

"They say that from the instant he lays eyes on her, a father adores his daughter. Whoever she grows up to be, she is always to him that little girl in pigtails. She makes him feel like Christmas. In exchange, he makes a secret promise not to see the awkwardness of her teenage years, the mistakes she makes or the secrets she keeps." ~Anonymous

What I'm Reading Now: GOOP

Gwyneth Paltrow is such an amazing style icon, actress, chef (as noted earlier here) and author of an amazing blog GOOP. The blog has six different topics that include make, go, get, do, be, and see. Right now I'm loving the her post on cheese boards in the "make" section and her list of favorite restaurants and boutiques in Chicago from her "go" section. She also posted a very intriguing read on homosexuality in the Bible in the "be" section.
